History

Battisti's began in the small town of Frosinone, Italy.  Starting at age eleven, Joe Battisti Sr. worked as an apprentice barber to contribute to his family's livelihood.  In 1971, he and his family immigrated to the United States seeking greater opportunity.  Here he began his barbering business, in a small room, at the Rochester Airport.  His business continued to grow as the years passed and he offered new services each year.  Joe Battisti's life became the true realization of the "American Dream."  Today, Battisti's is a multi-faceted salon offering the finest personal care services.
